Representing Liechtensteins investment fund sector. The Liechtenstein Investment Fund Association (Liechtensteinischer Anlagefondsverband, LAFV), was founded in September 2000 in order to represent the interests of investment fund management companies in Liechtenstein. All investment fund management companies registered in the Principality of Liechtenstein became founding members. The Executive Committee of the LAFV comprises the following members: Rolf Pfund, Roland Bargetze (Deputy Chair), Matthias Voigt (Chair) and Benno Schumacher. The LAFVs mission is to promote the development of Liechtenstein as a centre of investment fund operations and to represent the interests of the Liechtenstein investment fund sector at home and abroad. The Association does not itself engage in any business activity. The LAFV is particularly concerned with developing an appropriate legislative framework in line with the sectors needs.
