ADVFN UK Professional is a new service, which provides the professional investor with: Unlimited, real-time Enhanced Level 2. Real-time unlimited UK quotes. Real-time FTSE and delayed US prices and indices including NASDAQ, DOW, S&P. ADVFN UK Professional provides all the free ADVFN tools in addition to the comprehensive package of ADVFNs premium award winning features. These include: The Premium Bulletin Board, Premium fundamentals, data downloads and Premium Toplists. This service enables the user to open multiple windows of real-time Level 1 and Level 2 streaming prices and provides continuous connection. You can watch streaming charts move during the day, have trade data pages updating at the same time while monitoring lists of specific stocks. This is provided under the umbrella of a UK Professional users license. Enhanced Level 2. ADVFN has enhanced the standard concept of the Level 2 broker screen by adding extra functionality, including: the ability to filter and summarise the order book instantly, an improved order book statistics section and a dedicated auction area - all supported within a special tab window environment. Why Professional costs more. Professionals are considered to be users registered or qualified as a professional securities trader or investment advisor, with any national or state exchange, regulatory authority, professional association or recognized professional body and acting in that capacity. The London Stock Exchange charges higher licenses for market professionals. For example, the basic license fee for Level 2 is per user more for a professional than a private investor. The FTSE fee is also roughly double. This basic cost makes up the bulk of the difference in charging between ADVFN private investor charges and the Professional tariff.
