Sector focus included agriculture, fisheries, education, health, transport, and infrastructure. Policy dialogue noted the country s high dependence on external revenues such as remittances, trust fund returns, and development aid. Representatives from the private sector expressed the need to improve access to credit and markets as well as to develop human resources for entrepreneurship. Representatives from nongovernment organizations (NGOs) recommended future collaboration with ADB in areas such as microcredit to women in the outer islands and institutional and capacity building for local NGOs.
